Change or schedule a campaign
Pause, resume or change the budget of a campaign immediately, or schedule a change for a set time.
From a campaign's window you can change it on the platform now, or set the change to happen later.
Before you start: changing now needs Can run campaigns under Ad campaigns. The platform must allow the change. Only the actions it accepts are shown. These changes spend money and take effect on the platform at once.
Change a campaign now
- Open Web Campaigns › Campaigns and click the campaign.
- Under Change it now:
- Pause (shown when the campaign is not paused) or Resume (shown when it is not active). Confirm "Pause this campaign?" with Pause or Resume. The message says it takes effect on the platform immediately.
- Change budget: enter New budget (in the campaign's currency), choose Applies to Daily or Lifetime, then click Change budget.
- If the platform refuses, the reason appears in a red box at the top of the window.

If a platform accepts none, the window says " does not allow campaigns to be changed through its API — this view is read-only for it."
Schedule a change
Scheduling needs Can run campaigns (which includes scheduling).
- Under Schedule a change, choose an Action (only supported ones are listed).
- For Change budget enter the Budget. Scheduled budgets apply as a daily budget.
- Pick When with the date and time picker.
- Click Schedule.
The change appears in a table with Action, Runs (date and time) and Status. Click Remove to cancel it.

Important: A scheduled change runs later with the permissions of the person who created it. Times are checked in UTC, but you pick them in your own time. Check scheduled changes before you remove access for the person who made them.
What happens next
The platform changes at once, and AxisIQ re-reads the campaign list straight after, so the campaign shows its new state. If that re-read fails, the next sync catches up.
Tips
- Pause confirms before acting. Budget changes do not, so check the amount and the Applies to choice.
- Remove a scheduled change before its time to stop it.
Troubleshooting
There are no Change it now buttons You lack Can run campaigns, or the platform does not allow changes.
"set_budget needs a budget amount" or "budget must be a decimal amount"
Enter the budget as a plain number such as 500.
"Change run dates" is listed under Action for a platform Changing run dates cannot be completed from this screen and fails with "set_schedule needs a start or end date". Change dates on the platform.
