Favourites, home page and tags
Star the reports you use most, make one your dashboard home page, and group reports with shared or personal tags.
You will keep your most-used reports one click away and group them with tags.
Before you start: stars, home page and personal tags are yours alone, so anyone who can open Analytics can set them. Shared tags are for the whole workspace and need Full control on Analytics & reports.
Star a report
- On the Reports page click the star on a card (it appears when you hover). Starred reports sort first.
- On a report page click the star beside the title (Add to favorites or Remove from favorites).
- Right-click a card for Favorite / Unfavorite.
Set your home page
Your home page is the report you see on your dashboard instead of the standard console.
- Open the report, click the Report options menu (three dots) and choose Set as my home page. Or right-click its card on the Reports page.
- Your card shows a Home badge and the report header shows "Your home page".
- To undo, choose Stop using as home page.
The dashboard shows, in order: the report you pick from its left rail, your own home page, your workspace's default home (set up during workspace setup), then the standard console. A deleted home report falls back to the console. Reports on your home page are read-only there; click Open in Analytics to edit.
When you have two or more favourites, the dashboard gets a left rail listing them grouped by tag, with the standard console one click away.
Tags
A tag is a label. A report can carry many, and it shows under each one, so tags are not folders.
- Open a report, then Report options › Tags… (or Tags in edit mode). The Tags dialog has two parts:
- Shared with the workspace — everyone sees these groupings. You can edit them only with Full control.
- My tags — only you see these. They also group your dashboard menu.
- Type a tag (examples: "Month end", "Morning check") and click Add. Existing tags are suggested as you type.
- Remove a tag with the cross on it. Click Save.
Tags are trimmed, up to 40 characters, and "Weekly" and "weekly" count as one tag.
On the Reports page, when there is more than one group, filter buttons appear: All and one per tag with a count. Personal groups are labelled "only you".
Tips
- Use shared tags for how the team thinks ("Finance", "Weekly review") and personal tags for how you work.
- Saving the layout never removes tags.
