Share a report

Share a report page outside your workspace with a read-only link or an embed code, with an expiry date and an optional password.

Send a live report to someone who does not use AxisIQ — your CA, your bank, a franchise partner — or embed it in another website. They see the report read-only, without signing in.

Before you start: you need Full control + public links on Analytics & reports. If you don't see this yet, the owner applies the waiting workspace upgrade — see Upgrade your workspace.

  1. Open the report and click Share in the header.
  2. Optionally, under Who is it for? (optional), write a name you will recognise later, for example "Mehta & Co. — CA".
  3. Choose Expires after: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 1 year.
  4. Optionally, set a Password (optional) of at least 4 characters. Send it separately from the link.
  5. Click Create link. Under Link ready, click Copy link or Copy embed code.

The embed code is a small piece of HTML you paste into another web page to show the report inside it.

What the other person sees

  • The report exactly as you can see it, live, every time they open the link. It is never more than you can see in the app; fields hidden from you stay hidden.
  • They can change the report's time range. Nothing else can be changed, and buttons and forms are left out.
  • A link with a password asks for it first.
  • An expired or turned-off link says it is not available and asks them to request a new one.

Important: if you lose access to Analytics or leave the workspace, every link you made stops working.

Active links in the same dialog lists every link on this report with its name, expiry date and a Password badge where one is set.

  • Copy link or Embed — copy it again.
  • Turn off — the link stops working straight away. You can make a new one any time.

Up to 20 links per report. Data from other databases (data sources) is never shown through a link.
