Keyboard shortcuts

Press ? anywhere in AxisIQ for the keyboard map: search everything, search the page, create a new item, save a form and open Ask Axis from the keyboard.

These shortcuts work on every page of AxisIQ. Press ? at any time to see them in a window titled Keyboard shortcuts.

Keys What it does
? Show the keyboard map.
⌘ K / Ctrl + K Search everything. See Search and quick actions.
⌘ J / Ctrl + J Open Ask Axis.
/ Jump to the search box on this page. On a page without one, it opens the search for everything.
N New — the page's main New … button, for example New record or New flow.
⌘ Enter / Ctrl + Enter Save or submit the form you are in.
⌘ S / Ctrl + S Save, in documents, forms and templates.
Esc Close a dialog or panel.

Good to know

  • The single-key shortcuts (?, /, N) never fire while you are typing in a box, so they do not get in the way of your writing.
  • If a page has its own meaning for a key (Sheets, for example), the page wins.
  • N and / do nothing while a dialog is open.
  • Some apps have more shortcuts of their own: see Sheets and Relay.
