Trash and restore
Undo a delete, restore flows, forms, workbooks, pages, reports and queues from Settings › Trash within 30 days, or delete them forever.
Deleting something in AxisIQ moves it to the trash first. For 30 days you can undo the delete or restore it; after that it is removed for good.
Before you start: You see and restore only what you could delete yourself — for example, a form in the trash needs the same Forms permission you need to delete it. The owner sees everything.
Note: If deletes still say "This cannot be undone", the owner applies the waiting workspace upgrade — see Upgrade your workspace. Until then the Trash page says "Deletes here are still permanent."
What goes to the trash
| Where | Trash |
|---|---|
| Flows, forms, workbooks, Content Studio pages, functions, saved queries, reports, work queues and PDF templates | Settings → Trash (this page) |
| Records | Each record type's own trash. See Trash and restore records. |
| Drive files and folders | Drive's own Trash. See Drive trash. |
Undo a delete
- Delete the item as usual. The confirmation is titled Move to trash and says you can restore it from Settings › Trash for 30 days.
- Click Move to trash. A message says " moved to trash" with an Undo button.
- Click Undo to put it straight back.
Restore from the trash
- Open Settings (workspace name menu → Organization settings) and click Trash in the left rail.
- Find the item. The list shows Name, Type, Deleted by, Deleted and Removed for good (the date it will be purged). Use Type to show one kind, or Everything.
- Click Restore. The item returns where it was, with its history and contents.
If another item has taken its name or web address in the meantime — a form key, a queue key, a page address — restoring is refused. Rename or remove the other item first.
Delete forever
Click Delete forever and confirm. Everything that belongs to the item goes too — a form's responses, a workbook's tabs, a queue's items. This cannot be undone.
What happens while something is in the trash
- A trashed flow does not run. Its triggers and schedules are ignored until you restore it.
- A trashed form no longer accepts responses, and a trashed page is no longer on your site.
- Every move to trash, restore and delete forever is recorded in the audit log.
