Agentforce alternative for growing companies
AxisIQ is an Agentforce alternative: one assistant across CRM, orders, stock and money, acting under each user's permissions, priced flat in rupees.
AxisIQ is an Agentforce alternative for growing companies that want an AI assistant working across their whole operation, not only their CRM. Salesforce Agentforce puts AI agents on top of the Salesforce platform and is built for organisations already running Salesforce at enterprise scale. AxisIQ gives a 15–200-person company one live model of its customers, orders, stock, invoices, payments and accounts, with Axis, an assistant that answers questions and does the work on that data under each person's own permissions, asking before anything involving money, messages or deletions. It is priced flat in rupees and the workspace is set up by AI in a conversation.
What Agentforce is good at
Salesforce is the reference point for CRM, and it earned that. If you are weighing Agentforce, these strengths are real:
- CRM depth. Sales Cloud and Service Cloud have decades of refinement in pipeline management, forecasting, case routing, territories and service workflows. Very few products match them feature for feature.
- Ecosystem. The AppExchange, a large consultant and admin community, certified partners in every major city and integrations with almost every business tool.
- Enterprise scale. Complex sharing models, multi-org setups, global teams and the governance large companies require.
- Agents grounded in Salesforce data. Agentforce agents can work with the records and processes you already keep in Salesforce, which is valuable when Salesforce is where your business lives.
If your company already runs on Salesforce, has an admin or partner, and the work you want AI to do is mostly sales and service, Agentforce is the natural next step and you should evaluate it first.
Why growing companies look for an Agentforce alternative
The people who search for an Agentforce alternative are usually not running Salesforce today. They are a distributor, a D2C brand, a manufacturer or a service company with 20 to 150 people, and they have heard that AI agents can take work off their team. Three things tend to get in the way.
The CRM is only part of the business. For an Indian company of this size, the questions that matter cross boundaries: which customers owe money and also have open orders, which items sold out at the store but are sitting in the warehouse, which dispatches are late for the customers who complained last month. Agentforce works where your Salesforce data is; the order book, stock, collections and ledger usually live somewhere else.
The platform comes first. Agentforce requires a Salesforce edition at Enterprise level or above, and getting value from it generally means a Salesforce implementation, data migration and someone to administer it. That is a sensible investment for a large sales organisation and a heavy one for a company still running on spreadsheets and Tally.
Billing and fit for India. Salesforce prices and bills globally. A growing Indian company often wants a rupee subscription and a tool built around UPI, Razorpay and WhatsApp.
How AxisIQ is different
One assistant across operations, money and customers
In AxisIQ, customers, leads and deals are record types next to orders, stock items, jobs, suppliers, invoices, payments and the chart of accounts, all in one database per organisation. Axis works across all of it. You can ask "which distributors in Pune have overdue invoices and placed an order this month?" and get an answer from the live data, then ask Axis to send each of them a payment link. See CRM in AxisIQ and Ask Axis.
What Axis can do, under the asking person's permissions:
- answer questions and run analytics over your records
- create and update records, in bulk where needed
- add record types and fields, build automations (flows) and roles
- search your knowledge base of documents and records
- send email, SMS or WhatsApp through your own provider accounts
- create Razorpay payment links and generate PDF documents such as quotes
- use HTTP-based MCP servers your organisation connects
Permissions and confirmations are enforced by the server
Axis acts as the person asking, never as a super-user. If a sales executive cannot see margins, Axis cannot show them margins. Field-level masking, per-app roles and attribute conditions all apply to the assistant exactly as they apply to the screen.
Actions that matter, such as payment links, outbound messages, invitations and destructive changes to records or schema, stop and ask "go ahead?" before running. The approval is single-use and covers exactly that action with exactly those details; if anything changes, Axis asks again. Every change lands in an append-only audit trail with the person who asked. See permissions.
Set up by AI, not by an implementation project
The AI workspace builder interviews the owner about how the business works and then builds the workspace: typically 7–10 apps, 25–45 record types with their fields, roles, automations, a home dashboard and optional example data. The first 60 setup turns are free. You refine it afterwards in plain English, or by hand.
Messages go out through your own accounts
When Axis or an automation sends an email, SMS or WhatsApp message, it goes through the company's own provider accounts, such as Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, MSG91 or Twilio, so the sending reputation and the bill stay yours. Delivery status is tracked, and bounces and unsubscribes are honoured on every send. See automation.
Flat rupee pricing
AxisIQ plans are a flat monthly price in rupees that include a set number of users, with cheaper Operational seats for floor, warehouse and counter staff. Assistant use is covered by the plan's usage allowances, with anything beyond them billed at published rates on the same subscription; there are no separate agent licences to buy. See pricing.

Where Agentforce wins
Choose Agentforce, or stay with Salesforce, if:
- You already run Salesforce and have an admin or partner. Adding agents to a working Salesforce setup is easier than moving the business.
- Sales and service are the business. If the work is complex B2B selling, large service desks, territory planning and forecasting, Salesforce's CRM depth matters more than having operations and accounts in the same system.
- You need enterprise scale and governance: multiple business units, global teams, regulated processes, certifications.
- You depend on the ecosystem. If specific AppExchange apps or Salesforce-native tools run part of your business, they do not come with you.
When AxisIQ is not the right choice
AxisIQ is newer and narrower in places, and some gaps are decisive:
- No GST compliance features. No e-invoicing (IRN), e-way bills, GST return filing or TDS, and no Tally sync. Most companies keep Tally or their CA's tool for compliance.
- No payroll or HR, and no manufacturing MRP or bill-of-materials planning.
- No native mobile apps or offline mode. It is a responsive web app.
- No SOC 2 or ISO certification yet. If procurement requires one, we cannot meet it today.
- A smaller ecosystem. There is no app marketplace or partner network of Salesforce's size.
Moving from spreadsheets or another CRM
Moving from a CRM usually means bringing a contact list, open deals and an order history. You can import CSVs of up to 500 rows per import into any record type, or let Axis build the types first and import into them. If your team lives in spreadsheets, Axis Sheets can stay linked to records so edits flow back. For a broader comparison with heavyweight systems, see AxisIQ vs traditional ERP.
If you would like to see Axis working on data shaped like yours, book a demo, or start a 14-day trial with no card.
FAQ
What is a good Agentforce alternative for a growing company? If your company does not already run Salesforce, look for an assistant that works on all of your operating data, not only CRM. AxisIQ gives a 15–200-person company one database for customers, orders, stock, invoices and payments, with an assistant that acts under each person's permissions and is priced flat in rupees.
Can AxisIQ replace Salesforce as a CRM? For many growing companies, yes: leads, customers, deals and activities are ordinary record types with search, automation, analytics and the assistant on top. It does not match Salesforce's depth in forecasting, territory management or large service desks, so complex sales organisations should keep Salesforce.
Can an AI agent take actions in AxisIQ without approval? Routine record work runs directly under the asking person's permissions. Anything involving money, outbound messages, invitations or destructive changes stops for an explicit "go ahead", and that approval covers only the exact action shown. Every change is recorded in the audit trail.
Do I need Salesforce to use AxisIQ? No. AxisIQ is a separate, complete system. Its AI workspace builder sets up your apps, record types and roles during onboarding, so there is no platform to buy first.
Can the AxisIQ assistant send WhatsApp messages to customers? Yes, through your company's own Meta WhatsApp Cloud API account, using templates Meta has approved. Axis asks for confirmation before sending, delivery status is tracked, and anyone who has opted out is never messaged.
Is AxisIQ priced per AI agent? No. Plans are a flat monthly price in rupees with a set number of users included, and assistant use is covered by the plan's allowances, with usage beyond them billed at published rates. There are no separate agent licences. Details are on the pricing page.
