AxisIQ for fashion and apparel brands
AxisIQ tracks size and colour variants, Myntra and website orders, size-led returns and exchanges, RTO and creator codes for Indian fashion brands.
AxisIQ gives fashion and apparel brands one live workspace for the part of the business that happens after the sale: every style broken into size and colour variants, orders from your own site and from Myntra, Ajio and Amazon in one list, returns and exchanges recorded with their reason, RTO tracked against the shipment that caused it, and creator collaborations tied to the codes they drove. It starts from the D2C & E-commerce template, which sets up the apps, roles, flows and dashboard at signup, and Ask Axis adapts it to how your label works.

Where an apparel brand's operations break
Fashion multiplies everything. A single kurta in six sizes and four colours is twenty-four SKUs, each with its own stock and its own barcode, and a new drop adds another hundred. The catalog lives in the store admin, the size-wise stock in a sheet that is never quite current, and the Myntra and Ajio panels each keep their own version of both.
Returns are the second tax. In apparel most returns are about fit, not quality, and a large share of customers want a different size rather than their money back. When that exchange is handled in a WhatsApp chat, nobody can later say which sizes run small, which style is returned most, or how much refund value went out last month.
Then RTO. COD orders that are refused at the door come back after two weeks in transit, having tied up stock and paid shipping twice. Knowing RTO by courier, by pincode state and by payment mode is how a brand decides where to stop offering COD — and that needs the shipment and the order in the same place.
Finally creators. A collaboration is negotiated in DMs, the promo code is set up in the store, and whether the reel sold anything is a guess made from a discount report weeks later.
How the template covers it
- Product holds the style — style code, category (tops, bottoms, dresses, footwear, accessories), MRP, selling and cost price, a computed Unit margin, HSN code and GST rate, launch date and status.
- Variant is the sellable unit underneath: SKU, size (XS to XXL, UK6 to UK8, Free size), colour, barcode and price. Order lines and stock count variants, so size-wise stock is native, not a pivot.
- Stock level is one variant at one warehouse — on hand, reserved, a computed Available, and a reorder level.
- Order carries its channel (website, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Instagram, WhatsApp), payment mode and a status that runs through
rto. Order lines name the exact variant shipped. - Return records the reason —
size_issue, damaged, wrong item, quality, changed mind — and the resolution: refund, exchange or store credit, with the refund amount. Each return is numbered automatically (RET-2026-00017). When the item is received at the warehouse, a flow marks the order returned. - Shipment holds the AWB, courier and status; a flow flags the order RTO the moment the shipment goes
rto_initiated, and another closes the order when it is delivered. - Promotion and Creator collaboration link a creator's handle, platform, deliverable and fee to the promo code they share, with redemptions, revenue attributed and orders attributed on the records.
Return rate by size and reason, RTO by courier and state, and revenue per creator code are all SQL over these records in Analytics, and any of them can become a widget on the Brand overview dashboard.
What to ask Ask Axis to add
Apparel brands usually want a few things the base template leaves open. Ask in plain words after signup:
- "Add Ajio as an order channel and as a settlement source."
- "On returns, add an exchange variant field that links to the variant the customer wants instead."
- "Add a fabric and a fit field to products, with fit options slim, regular and relaxed."
- "Add a collection field to products so I can group a season's drop."
- "Add a dashboard widget for return rate by size for the last 90 days."
- "When a creator collaboration goes live, notify the marketing team."
Ask Axis changes the live workspace under your permissions and confirms before anything destructive. See Ask Axis.
For the warehouse, the template's Dispatch queue takes every confirmed order through To pick → Picked → Packed → Handed to courier: packers pull the next order and scan labels, the Order summary PDF goes to the packing table, and the day's courier manifest reconciles at the door. See Work Queues.
One honest limit
AxisIQ does not connect to Myntra, Ajio, Amazon or Flipkart seller panels, and it does not push your catalog to them. Marketplace orders come in by CSV import (up to 500 rows a file) or a scheduled flow against a channel that offers an API; Shopify and WooCommerce stores can be browsed live, read-only, through Marketplaces.
FAQ
Can AxisIQ handle size and colour variants for clothing? Yes. Each product has variants with their own SKU, size, colour, barcode and price, and both stock and order lines count variants, so size-wise availability per warehouse is built in.
How do I track exchanges for size issues? A return records the reason as size issue and the resolution as exchange; ask Ask Axis to add an exchange-variant field and the swap is recorded on the same return.
Can I see which courier or state has the most RTO? Yes. Shipments carry RTO statuses and a flow flags the order, so RTO by courier, ship-to state or payment mode is one query or one dashboard widget.
How do I measure influencer and creator collaborations? Each collaboration links to the promotion code the creator shares, so fee, redemptions, revenue attributed and orders attributed sit side by side.
Do Myntra and Ajio orders sync automatically? No. They come in by CSV import or a flow you write; there is no built-in marketplace connector.
