AxisIQ for RO and water purifier service companies
AxisIQ runs RO purifier service: home complaints by zone, filter-change schedules, AMC renewals with automatic renewal quotes, technician visits, parts.
AxisIQ is service management software for RO and water purifier companies in India: hundreds of home complaints a week logged and dispatched by zone, filter-change PM schedules under each AMC, AMC renewals that turn into renewal quotations on their own, technician visits with the filters and membranes used, and invoices with payment links, in one live workspace. It starts from the Field Service & AMC template, set up in seconds at signup, and Ask Axis adapts it to your service model.

How an RO service business actually runs
RO service is volume work. Each job is small — a filter change, a leaking tap, low water flow, a membrane that has given up — but a city operation handles hundreds of them a week, mostly in homes, mostly booked over the phone or WhatsApp. A technician may cover eight or ten homes a day in one zone, carrying filters, membranes and pumps in a bag or on a bike.
The money is in the AMC. A household that renews year after year is worth far more than any single repair, and renewals are won or lost on two things: whether the filter changes promised under the AMC actually happened, and whether someone called before the contract ran out. With thousands of contracts on a spreadsheet, neither is reliable. Parts leak too — a membrane fitted on a chargeable visit and never billed, a filter used under AMC that should have been free but was charged, and the customer remembers.
How the template covers it
- Customer and Site hold each household and its address, pincode and zone; Equipment records the purifier with make, model, Serial number, installed on and Warranty till (category RO purifier).
- Service request logs each complaint — low output, water leakage, error code, no power — with how it was logged (phone, WhatsApp, web form, walk-in), priority and SLA due. The Raise a service request form, behind a QR sticker on the purifier, lets a household log a complaint with its asset tag, name, mobile and address — no customer record needed first; the coordinator links it later.
- Technician carries zone and skills, so the coordinator dispatches by area from the Technician dispatch queue, which every new complaint enters automatically; Job card records each visit, the work done and the customer sign-off, with Part used lines for filters and membranes from the Spare part catalogue, each flagged Chargeable or covered.
- AMC contract sets PM visits per year — your filter-change frequency — and PM visit due rows hold each visit; a completed preventive job card marks it done.
- Expiring AMC gets a renewal quote: when a contract is marked expiring, a flow drafts an AMC renewal Quotation for the same customer and site, ready to price and send.
- Invoice links to the AMC contract or service request, and a payment link lets the household pay by UPI.
The Service overview dashboard shows AMCs up for renewal (30 days), Renewal value at stake, Visits today and First-time fix %. Renewal reminders can go out by SMS or WhatsApp through your own provider account using approved templates.
What to ask Ask Axis to add
RO service teams usually ask for changes like these:
- "Mark AMC contracts expiring 30 days before the renewal due date, every morning."
- "Add TDS in and TDS out readings to job cards."
- "When a renewal quotation is sent, send the customer a WhatsApp renewal reminder."
- "Add a dashboard table of AMC households whose last filter change was more than 100 days ago."
- "Add Lead and Demo types for new purifier sales."
Ask Axis makes each change in your live workspace under your permissions and confirms before anything destructive. See Ask Axis and automation.
One honest limit
There is no technician app with GPS tracking or route optimisation, and no offline mode: technicians open the AxisIQ web app in their phone browser, and the coordinator sequences each zone's visits. Customer sign-off is a field the technician sets — signature, OTP verified or refused — and AxisIQ does not itself send an OTP to the customer or capture a signature on a pad.
FAQ
What is the best software to manage RO service and AMC renewals? One that ties every purifier to its AMC, filter-change visits and complaints, and starts the renewal before the contract lapses. AxisIQ does that, with a flow that drafts a renewal quotation when a contract is marked expiring.
Can AxisIQ schedule filter changes under AMC? Yes. Each contract's PM visits are rows with due dates and technicians; a completed preventive job card marks the visit done.
Can customers raise RO complaints themselves? Yes — through the Raise a service request form, linked from a QR sticker or SMS once you grant it public access. Each submission becomes a numbered service request in the dispatch queue.
How do we stop filters under AMC being charged to customers? Every part used on a job card carries a chargeable flag, and the job card points at the complaint and its AMC contract, so accounts can see what is covered before invoicing.
