Money — invoices, payments and a real ledger
GST invoices, quotations and credit notes with PDFs in your design, payments that settle them, and a real double-entry ledger with exact decimal money. Books your accountant can trust.

Part of AxisIQ's single business model — The financial record (Know the business). How the layers fit.
Two different things get called "accounting software", and a business needs both: the day-to-day money movement your operations team touches, and the books your accountant will not argue with.
AxisIQ separates them on purpose.
The everyday half
Invoices, payments and accounts are ordinary record types. That sounds unremarkable until you notice what it buys you: they get the same list screens, the same search and filters, the same custom fields, the same CSV import and export, the same reports, the same queues and the same assistant as everything else.
So "show me every overdue invoice over ₹50,000 for customers in Maharashtra, sorted by age" is a normal question — not a feature request. And a payment-reminder board with a Send reminder button is fifteen minutes of setup, not a new product.
Because every receivable and payable in the books names its customer or supplier, ageing comes from the ledger itself — not due, 0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and over 90 days, per party, with a statement one click away — so it always agrees with the balance sheet.
Amounts carry their currency, so foreign-currency supplier bills and rupee invoices coexist without one being mistaken for the other. There is no automatic exchange-rate conversion; totals stay per currency.
The books half
Underneath sits a proper double-entry ledger, and it is strict in the ways that matter:
- Entries balance exactly. Total debits must equal total credits, and the total must be greater than zero. The check is exact decimal arithmetic — never floating point — so ₹0.01 never goes missing to rounding.
- Posted entries are immutable. Once an entry is posted it cannot be edited or deleted, by anyone, including the owner. This is the property that makes a ledger worth having.
- Corrections are reversals. Made a mistake? Post a reversing entry. The original stays, the correction is visible, and the history tells the truth about what happened and when you noticed.
From that you get a live trial balance and a per-account ledger view at any moment — not at month end, not after someone runs a close job.
The same ledger gives you a cash flow statement — operating, investing and financing — that checks itself against what your cash and bank accounts actually hold, and says so plainly when the two differ instead of forcing them to agree.
Invoices that are documents, not just rows
Billing has its own editor. You draft an invoice, quotation, credit note or delivery challan with proper lines — HSN/SAC codes, quantities, discounts and tax — and the totals work themselves out as you type. For Indian businesses that means real GST: CGST and SGST inside your state, IGST across states, decided by the place of supply, with a tax summary by HSN code and the total in words, in lakh and crore.
When it is right, you issue it. It takes the next number in your own series — INV/26-27/0001, restarting each financial year — and it is locked. Corrections go through a credit note, which reduces what the customer owes, exactly as your accountant expects.
Every document prints as a PDF in your design: three built-in layouts, your logo and accent colour, sections you can switch off, or a layout you write yourself. Share a link that shows the amount due with a UPI QR, or send it by email, SMS or WhatsApp from your own account. Quotations turn into invoices in one click, sales orders (or any record) can become invoices, and retainers bill themselves on a schedule.
Posting you switch on, per document type
When you want it, issuing an invoice posts a balanced journal entry — receivable, revenue and each GST component to the accounts you choose — and each payment posts to the bank as it arrives. A credit note posts the reverse; cancelling reverses the original. It is a switch per document type, with the account mapping in plain view, because silent auto-posting nobody can explain is how books go wrong. Manual entries, flows and functions still work alongside it.
Who can touch it
Ledger access is its own permission. Someone can raise and send invoices all day without ever being able to post a journal entry, and reversal rights can be narrower still. Every posting is attributed and recorded in the audit trail, so "who posted this and when" is always a five-second answer.
Where it fits with your accountant
AxisIQ is where the money movement happens and where the operational truth lives. Your trial balance and ledger export cleanly for filing and statutory work — the goal is that your accountant receives clean, complete numbers instead of a shoebox of exports. AxisIQ does not sync with accounting software or file returns, and generating e-invoice IRNs through the government portal is not available yet — your GST invoices, tax summary and ledger are ready for the tools your accountant uses.
The ledger and audit trail are included on every plan — see pricing.
