Your dashboard

What the home page shows and how AxisIQ decides which dashboard you see.

The dashboard is the page you land on after opening a workspace. It can be one of three things.

Which dashboard you see

AxisIQ picks the first that applies:

  1. Your home page. A report you chose as your own home in Analytics.
  2. The workspace's default home. A report the setup assistant saved for everyone.
  3. The workspace overview. The standard console described below.

If your chosen report is deleted, you fall back to the next one. The workspace overview stays reachable even when a report is your home. Use Workspace overview in the left menu (shown once you have starred more than one report), or open /dashboard/console.

When a report is your home

The report is shown read-only with its title and an Open in Analytics button. Once you have starred more than one report, the left menu appears with Your reports: Workspace overview, your favourites grouped by tag, and All reports. To make a report your home or favourite, see Analytics.

The workspace overview

A greeting that changes with the time of day (for example "Good morning, "), then "Money in, money owed, and the work moving through your org."

  • Time range switch: 7d, 14d or 30d.
  • New order and New invoice buttons, shown only when your workspace has those record types.
  • A strip of record types with recent activity.
  • Key metrics: Invoiced, Collected, Outstanding and New orders, each with a small trend line.
  • Money movement: invoiced and collected per day. With no activity it says "No money movement yet".
  • Latest records: the newest orders, invoices, payments and customers. Click a row to open its page.
  • Unpaid invoices: open invoices, with an "open" count badge.
  • A work queues panel with a Create a queue button if you have none.
  • An Ask Axis card with example questions.

Panels only appear for record types your workspace has. A workspace built for a different kind of business may show only a few of them. Amounts use your workspace's default currency.
