See and undo what Ask Axis did

Review every change Ask Axis made in your workspace — who asked, when, what it touched and what the request used — and undo record changes in one click.

Every time Ask Axis creates, changes, deletes or sends something, it is written down in What Axis did: who asked, when, what it touched, whether it worked and how many tokens the request used. Changes to your records can be undone from the same list.

Before you start: anyone with Can use on the Ask Axis assistant app on the Roles page sees their own actions. To see everyone's, you need to be the workspace owner or have Audit trail at Can view.

Open the list

  1. Open Ask Axis from the app launcher.
  2. Select What Axis did in the header, next to Digests and Connectors.
  3. The newest actions are first. Select Show older at the bottom to go further back.

Each entry shows what Axis did (for example Create records), what it touched (for example "Created 3 Leads, updated 1 Deal"), when it happened and how many tokens that request used. Failed attempts show a Failed badge with the reason.

See everyone's actions

If you are the owner or can read the audit trail:

  1. In What Axis did, switch from Mine to Everyone.
  2. Each entry now also names the person who asked.

You see what each action changed, but not the exact words someone typed to Ask Axis.

Undo an action

  1. Find the action in What Axis did.
  2. Select Undo.
  3. Read the summary and select Undo again to confirm.

Axis puts things back as they were:

  • Records it created go to the trash.
  • Values it changed go back to what they were before.
  • Records it deleted come back from the trash.

The entry is then marked Undone, with who undid it and when.

Good to know

  • Only the person who asked, or the workspace owner, can undo an action.
  • Undo runs as you, with your permissions today. If you can no longer change a record, the undo is refused and nothing is changed.
  • If anyone changed one of the records after Axis did, the undo is refused so their later edit isn't overwritten. Open the record's history (Record activity) and fix it by hand.
  • Some actions can't be undone, and the list says so: messages that were sent, payment links, issued or cancelled invoices, invitations, published pages, and changes to settings, roles, flows or your books. They reached outside your records, so taking them back here would only pretend.
  • An action that changed more than 50 records can't be undone in one step.
  • An action can be undone once.
  • The token count is for the whole request the action was part of. If Ask Axis did several things in one reply, each shows the same count.
