Find records
Filter record lists by field, combine conditions and sort by columns. Lists the operators available for each field type.
Narrow a record list with filters and change its order. Use this to find overdue invoices, customers in one city, or orders above a value.
Filter a list
- Open a record type's list.
- Above the table, pick a field in the first drop-down (Filter field).
- Pick an operator in the second drop-down (Filter operator).
- Enter or choose a value (Filter value). Press
Enteror click Add filter.
The filter appears as a chip such as Status = overdue and the table updates. The list goes back to page 1.

- Add as many filters as you like. All of them must match (AND).
- Click the small x on a chip to remove that filter.
- Click Clear all to remove every filter.
- If nothing matches the table says "No matching records".
Tip: Links from other apps can open a list already filtered, for example the overdue invoices on the Invoices & Payments overview. The filters show as chips. Remove them to see everything.

Fields of type ref, refs, multiselect and file are not in the Filter field list.
If your role hides a field, filtering or sorting on it fails with an error. Remove that filter.
Sort a list
Click a column heading to sort by it. Click again to reverse the order. Without a sort, the newest records come first. You can sort by the type's first six fields and by Created.
Pages
Lists show 50 records per page. Use the pager at the bottom to move between pages.
Search by typing
The list has no free-text search box. To find a word, use a contains filter on a text field. Link fields do search as you type, in their picker. See Links and line items.
Troubleshooting
